ScreenSaviour.sea.hqx

This is a simple application that runs on a Macintosh. It is a screen saver that displays random verses from the Book of Psalms or the Book of Proverbs of the King James Version of the Holy Bible. You can change the time before the screen saver kicks in, the time that the verse is displayed, whether the biblical refence is shown, and also whether the screen saver has a password. A Read Me file is included in the archive. Suggested fee $5.

If you've downloaded ScreenSaviour, you will notice that the Read Me menu item brings up a dialog that displays stylized text that can be scrolled through. Contrary to the popular belief of anyone who has seen this consistent feature in other programs, there is no toolbox call that will allow you to do this easily - you have to write your own code. I have already written this code and make it available to anyone who wants to incorporate it in their MPW 'C' application, asking only for a brief mention in your About box.

Thanks to Brauch & Associates, a copy of an in-house application that I developed for them that manipulates ASCII text files. It will allow you to append files, isolate records, delete records, n-select record, strip non-ASCII characters, and much more. Suggested fee $39.95 (as per Brauch).
